Artist Statement

My work is rooted in curiosity and introspection, as I explore both the world around me and my place within it. I document the socioeconomic shifts in my city and school, alongside deeply personal themes like mental health, growth, and healing. My art is a meditative process for me—one that navigates memory, emotion, and perception. I'm especially drawn to themes of change, absence, and presence. Through quiet observation and deep reflection, I utilize my craft to foster reflection, awareness, and a safe space for engaging with life's complexities.
